On Tuesday, Jan 7, the Chamber Board of Directors participated in a half-day planning session and leadership program. The group of leaders included retiring board members and newly appointed board members. The discussion included a new program for membership, calendaring events, budget and financials, and new volunteer opportunities for business-to-business activities.
“We have an outstanding and dedicated group of business leaders on our board. Each comes with expertise and a desire to serve the community. We will miss those members leaving the board as they have given much time and spirit to our programs. It was inspiring to have both groups with us as the new members were genuinely interested in learning about their new role with the chamber,” said Chris Marin, chamber president.
The meeting was held at Round Table Club House.
“Round Table, a member of the chamber of commerce, has always been so hospitable to our board and we appreciate their support,” said Andrea De Leon, executive director of the chamber.
