As an organization supporting businesses in our community, we are so pleased to be able to network in person again and thank everyone who joined us for our breakfast last month at Brightwater Senior Living and Highland Police Chief Capt. Casey Jiles, for being our speaker.

Our first in-person luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, July 27, and our speaker is Fire Captain Liz Brown who will talk on issues affecting businesses and residents in the Highland area. Rumor has it she may be bringing a fire truck, too!

The luncheon will be held indoors at the Brightwater Senior Living Center. Guests are encouraged to come at 11:30 a.m. to mingle and buy raffle tickets and lunch will be served at noon. Businesses are welcome to bring raffle prizes to distribute at luncheon. Tickets are $20 and available for purchase on the chamber website.

Mark your calendars – chamber luncheons are scheduled on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Our next speaker, on Aug. 24, is State Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh.

The Highland Area Chamber of Commerce has been serving the community since 1906 and we continue to champion the economic prosperity and quality of life for our region by being the voice of business, promoting collaboration and helping members grow.
