Kacy Carlsen

Kacy Carlsen, owner of Up Dog marketing, will be speaking at the June 25 Highland Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

Kacy Carlsen, owner of UpDog, will give a presentation on the best uses of social media at the upcoming Highland Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Tuesday, June 25. Carlsen, who’s firm specializes in marketing, branding and exposure, will bring insight to the world of digital marketing using social media for all in attendance.

The chamber has been working to bring educational experts to its members. Recently, the chamber has heard from a tax professional, the San Bernardino International Airport, the city, the county and the U. S. House of Representatives. Programs such as these give business owners and agency representatives an opportunity to learn about the topics in the region as well as the business climate.

“We are looking forward to hearing from Kacy Carlsen because social media marketing is a big part of doing business,” said Andrea De Leon, executive director of the chamber.

The luncheon is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 Base Line, in the C Building. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. Luncheons are open to the public. Members lunch is $20. Non-Members lunch $25. RSVPs are required. Please contact the Highland Area Chamber of Commerce at HighlandChamber.org, HCOC@HighlandChamber.org, or at (909) 864-4073 for reservations.

My God, when is the long anticipated Greenspot Village and Market Place going to get started? I see surrounding cities just going gang busters with new development from Redlands to Rancho Cucamonga yet Highland has so much rich vacant land but can't get anything built. And if they can't do anything in this good economy I fear they will never. Unbelievable.
