Pepito's new home

Pepito's new restaurant, with drive through and patio, is ready to open upon completion of negotiations for city development impact fee.

Pepito’s Mexican restaurant recently reopened with a “soft opening” after the construction of a new, larger restaurant. The restaurant will not officially be open for a couple of weeks as credit card machines are still to be installed.

For now, Pepito’s is open for reduced hours, cash only transactions and the new drive thru is not yet in use.

The 70-seat new Spanish mission-style restaurant replaces a smaller walkup that stood on the same property on Base Line east of Victoria. Pepito’s had been closed during the final phases of construction of the new building and the demolition of the old building.

My God by the time these poor owners open I can only imagine how far in the hole they will be. I for one will defiantly give them a try and encourage all Highland residents to support local business. Dollars spent in Highland stay in Highland.
