Mission K9 Rescue, a nonprofit that transports military working dogs home from worldwide locations, will be hosting a casino night and gala fundraiser at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Country Club Estates in Westlake Village.

In the past five years, Mission K9 Rescue has transported over 500 military and contract working dogs home from all over the world, reunited 270 dogs with their former handlers and assisted thousands with vet care.

This fundraising event will benefit this ongoing, lifesaving efforts.

The vent will include food, drink, a silent auction and special guest speakers.

The speakers include Air Force Capt. Charlie Plumb, Mission K9 Rascue Kristen Maurer and former U.S. Navy dog handler Krystal Tronboll.
