The Highland Area Chamber of Commerce is now holding A Taste of the Town game to encourage residents to support local restaurants by returning to their favorites and exploring new options.

The game is serving as social distancing-friendly substitute for the annual Discover Highland event usually held at the Lowe’s shopping center.

Participants can pick up a game card at any of the participating restaurants and earn stamps by spending at least $15 eating at least seven of 10 restaurants. Completed cards can then be mailed to the chamber to be entered for a prize drawing. The prize is a Performance Barbecue fromLowe’s.

The game is being held until Monday, May 10. The prize drawing will be held on Wednesday, May 19, at The Bear Springs Bistro & Lounge, 27959 Highland Ave. The winner will be notified by telephone.
