Firefighters water down a car that caught fire in the Carl's Jr. parking lot, April 28.

Highland firefighters quickly put out a vehicle fire in the Carl's Jr. parking lot on Boulder Avenue at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

According to a tow truck driver who called 911, he was preparing to raise a customer's car onto the truck when it caught on fire. He lowered the car then grabbed a fire extinguisher and called for the fire department.

Upon arrival the firefighters soon had the fire out.
