Deputies from the Highland Station responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Monday, Dec. 25, at about 10 a.m. on Fifth Street west of Central Avenue. The suspect, identified as Todd Cartwright, 39, of Upland, was contacted, detained, and arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle.

During the investigation deputies found stolen ID's, credit cards, a wallet, and other items taken from several vehicle burglaries in Redlands the day before. Cartwright was booked at Central Detention Center for possession of the stolen vehicle and is being held on $50,000 bail.
