Early Wednesday morning, Dec. 18, a pedestrian was struck and killed in traffic collision on the Alabama Street-Interstate 10 on-ramp.

According to a California Highway Patrol press release, at approximately 4:40 a.m, an unidentified male pedestrian was walking westbound in the lane on I-10 westbound, from Alabama Street on-ramp. Ralph Maloof, 59, of Redlands was driving a 2013 Tan GMC Sierra and traveling on I-10 westbound, from Alabama Street on-ramp, at approximately 25-30 miles per hour approaching the unidentified male.

Due to the time of the collision and the pedestrian's dark clothing the GMC collided with the pedestrian.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by emergency medical personnel.

The deceased was later identified as Jacob Lopez, a 21-year-old Colton resident.

This collision is still under investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Officer M. Tovsen at the CHP at (909) 383-4247.

Death of an innocent pedestrian in the traffic collision on the main road is a pretty bad thing that has happened this month. Website resumesservicesreview.com is helpful in assignment writing. The deceased individual is only twenty years old that is very tragic thing.
