San Bernardino Police Department is investigating two suspects in the death of Subhi Baghdadi, 51, of Anaheim, who was shot on Saturday, Aug. 31, while sitting in his car while parked at a business at 270 Base Line, San Bernardino.
According to a police report, Baghdadi and two unknown suspects were inside a business in the 1200 block of N. Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino when Baghdadi left the business. He was followed to his vehicle by both suspects and then followed to a neighboring business on Base Line.
According to police, the victim was seated in his vehicle when the same unknown suspects approached him. One of the suspects then pointed a firearm at the victim and fired a round. The suspects then fled the area on foot, in an unknown direction.
Baghdadi was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
