As part of ongoing brush clearance work around U.S. Forest Service facilities, fire crews will take advantage of weather conditions safe for prescribed fire to burn slash piles. Each location has piles representing approximately 15 acres of brush clearance.

Two locations:

· Del Rosa Fire Station, 4121 Quail Canyon Rd, San Bernardino, CA 92404

· Lytle Creek Ranger Station, 1209 Lytle Creek Road Lytle Creek, CA 92358

The burn at the Del Rosa Fire Station is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 4, if deemed safe and productive at that time. The burn at the Lytle Creek Ranger Station may occur later in the week. Due to weather and other factors, the burns may be postponed to a later date.
