The week of July 19, crews will continue work on the retaining walls along the eastbound SR-210 Base Line on-ramp, perform concrete pours on SR-210 at Fifth Street, as well as slope paving work at Victoria Avenue and Pioneer Avenue, and continue constructing temporary bridge supports, also known as falsework, at Highland Avenue and Arden Avenue. The following nighttime closures of eastbound and westbound SR-210 are needed to facilitate this work:

Westbound SR-210 closed at San Bernardino Avenue - Closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, July 19, through Friday, July 23. DETOUR: Exit westbound SR-210 at San Bernardino Avenue and turn right at the end of the ramp, turn right on Alabama Street, then turn right on Fifth Street to reenter westbound SR-210 via the on-ramp.

Eastbound SR-210 closed at San Bernardino Avenue - Closed from 10 p.m., Monday, July 19, to 5 a.m., Tuesday, July 20. DETOUR: Exit eastbound SR-210 at San Bernardino Avenue and turn right at the end of the ramp. Turn left on Alabama Avenue and continue to access the eastbound/westbound I-10 on-ramp.

Eastbound SR-210 closed at Del Rosa Avenue - Closed from 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, July 21. DETOUR: Exit eastbound SR-210 at Del Rosa Avenue and turn right. Turn left on Pacific Avenue, and left on Arden Avenue to reenter eastbound SR-210 via the Arden Avenue on-ramp.

Bridge widening activities are underway during daytime and nighttime shifts, at numerous locations throughout the project area, including Fifth Street, Pioneer Avenue, Victoria Avenue, Base Line Interchange and Highland Avenue.

Nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, July 19, through Wednesday, July 21 (into Thursday morning).

Eastbound SR-210 on-ramp at Base Line

Nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, July 19, through Thursday, July 22 (into Friday morning).

From 9 p.m., Friday, July 23, to 7 a.m., Saturday, July 24.

Westbound SR-210 on-ramp at Base Line

Nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, July 19, through Thursday, July 22 (into Friday morning).

Please note, nighttime lane/ramp closures may occur intermittently along eastbound and westbound SR-210, between Del Rosa Avenue and I-10, Mondays through Saturdays (into Sunday mornings), from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time. In addition, crews will continue daytime and nighttime construction activity along SR-210 as well as on local city streets.

Fifth Street/Greenspot Road at SR-210 - Closed nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23 (into Saturday morning).

Sound walls and retaining walls

Crews are starting work to construct new sound walls and/or retaining walls throughout the project corridor. This work will take place Mondays through Saturdays during daytime hours (6 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and intermittently during nighttime hours (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.).
