Update Sept. 21: The News Mirror editorial office received a call from Rudge's step mother at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21, to inform us that he has been found alive. He was found in the San Bernardino Mountains and will be airlifted out. More details to come.

Timothy Allen Rudge, 36, a Temecula resident, went missing over a month ago. His vehicle was recently located in the local mountain area. According to his stepmother, Stacey Rudge, his car was found with two flat tires at San Bernardino Peak Trail, in the Angeles Oaks area and he has been missing since Aug. 10, 2020.

“Many people in the Angeles Oaks community say they saw his vehicle parked in that spot for the past four weeks,” said Rudge.

Rudge also said a McDonald's restaurant receipt, dated Aug. 11, at 9:39 p.m., was found in his vehicle.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Rudge is confirmed missing and the vehicle was recently located in Angeles Oaks.

Because of current fire activity and evacuation orders in effect, it is too dangerous for search and rescue to begin a search in the area.
