On Sunday, Nov. 3, Highland Sheriff’s deputies arrest two San Bernardino residents staying at a Highland motel in connection to a stolen vehicle
According to a sheriff’s department press release, the deputies were investigating a reported stolen vehicle when they located the vehicle at a motel parking lot on the 26600 block of Highland Avenue.
Based on witness information and other physical evidence, deputies contacted Adam Stewart, 41, and Beatrice Rabideau, 43, both of San Bernardino, at one of the motel rooms. Stewart was found to be on felony formal probation for receiving known stolen vehicle out of San Bernardino.
During the investigation, deputies also located a large amount of narcotics for sale and an unregistered firearm (rifle). Stewart was booked at Central Detention Center on the above charges. Rabideau was booked at Central Detention Center on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
