First 5 San Bernardino announces Andrew Goldfrach has been inducted as a new commissioner with First 5 San Bernardino, the organization whose purpose is to help children up to 5 years old get a quality start in life.

Goldfrach, who serves as the interim director for San Bernardino County Department of Public Health as well as the chief operating officer for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), fills the role recently vacated by Corwin Porter, former San Bernardino County Public Health director who retired earlier this year.

“I’m excited to have Andrew join us and serve on the commission,” stated First 5 San Bernardino Executive Director Karen Scott. “His knowledge of the community and involvement with ARMC brings invaluable expertise to our Commission. We look forward to working closely as we advance the health and development of young children and their families.”
