Jerole Johnn Goines passed on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. Jerole Johnn will lay to rest with military honors at the Riverside National Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Jerole Johnn was born on Sept. 27, 1953, to Allen Wilson and Vivian Viola Goines in Live Oak, Fla. Raised in Live Oak, he attended Douglas High School, and, upon graduating from Suwannee High School, enlisted into the U.S. Air Force, where he served his country until his separation at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino.

Here he settled and became a resident of Highland, where he met and married his wife and friend, Theresa, over 30 years ago.

Jerole Johnn was a “people person.” Once you met him, you would not forget him, his family stated.

Jerole john leaves behind his loving wife and friend, Theresa and four daughters, Deatosha Haynes of Mobile, Ala., with husband Edrick Sr.; Candace Anthony of Macon Ga., with husband Datonio Sr.; Francis Goines of Washington, D.C.; Kerole Lynn Goines of Germantown, Md.

He is also had grandchildren Alexzandier Scott (deceased), Edrick Haynes Jr., Darius Haynes, Kevin Wynn II, Ashley Tarver, Shakara and Shakya Braxton, Dantonio Anthony Jr., Marayha and Sarahya Anthony, Havana Goines, Ikareem Goines, London Goines and Jedidiah Goines and great-grandchildren Kevin Wynn III, Khyrie Wynn, Korey Wynn and Alison Taylor.

He is also survices by his brothers Theophilus Dawe (Marie) of Orlando, Fla. And Marus Bradford of Orlando, Fla.; his sisters Monnet Ansley-Dawe of Orlando, Felicia Brown (William Brown Sr.) of Live Oak and Edna Mansour of Live Oak.
