Mary “Baby Doll” Olivo, born Jan. 20, 1957, in San Bernardino, died on Jan 9, 2021. She joins her loving parents Anselmo and Eufemia Vargas, brothers Arthur and Victor, sisters Marta and Irene.
Mary graduated from Pacific High School and was working at San Bernardino Public Library when she met Gerard Olivo. They married Feb. 11, 1978, and moved to Fort Bragg, Calif.
Later they moved to Felton, Calif., where she was a special education teacher’s assistant. After retiring, they moved to Highland to be closer to her Vargas family. Mary enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, going to dinner and concerts with her sisters. She enjoyed music so much she knew all the words to all the oldies and loved Elvis. She also had a big record collection, loved her Silver Sneaker Class at the YMCA, but, most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, daughter and grandson.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Gerard of 43 years, her daughter Francesca, her grandson Tyler Delucchi, her brothers Roger, David, Edward, Frank, Adrian, sisters Barbara Hernandez, Dian Vargas, Christine Cortez, Laura Levario, Aunt Mary Castaneda, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
